Unique Features of SRPS
Social Useful & Productive Action (SUPA)
"The outlook of the school classes one of the generations will be the outlook of the government in the next."
SUPA Initiative is a social activity, through which students can get exposure to interact with fellow citizens of the country who are exposed to the possibility of being attacked or harmed, either physically or emotionally, marginalised and in the peripheries due to their poverty and illiteracy. Under the guidance of two teachers, the select SUPA members frequently visit neighbouring slums and tribal colonies aiming at the awareness of hygiene and dangers of substance abuse and also for their complete development of mind and the body. In addition to that, the students are encouraged to raise funds for material help towards the children and adults of the colonies, which would in turn be a lesson for the students to be compassionate for the needy.
Punching values...
Annual Mega Carnival (AMC)
For individual thinking and nurturing leadership potentials in studies, Shalom organizes annual summits named Annual Mega Carnival (AMC), Which comprises a 3-day carnival ending with annual celebrations of the school. This could be a unique exposure for the students to have exhibitions, cultural programmes, youth parliament seminars on themes. The Stalls, food courts and book kiosks from out side agencies add colour to the carnival. This unique exposure had moulded several organizers and event managers in the past and we expect many more in the future.
Savvy Extravaganza!!!
Potters' House
Another unique feature of Shalom is the provision of education worthy of their traits and talents despite their economic income, legacy of physical artifacts and intangible attributes of a or society. To accomplish this objective, it is necessary to remove parts that are not necessary or wanted in children's attributes and moulding sections for the students to let the students acquire a level of knowledge to accomplish the vibrant hope which we dream for them. Potter's House is such an attempt aimed to coach the students individually by dividing them in to different clusters in which they will be assessed to trace their strengths and weaknesses. Potters' house is conducted in the first hour of the day and each cluster will help the students to do away with their weaknesses to perfect their skills and traits.
