What you must know!
HOUSES
School is divided among four houses -Diamond, Emerald, Ruby and Sapphire. Boys and girls are divided equally into these houses. Each house headed by House captain assisted by Vice Captain and two prefects.
Their duties are as follows:
a. Coordinating and leading the activities of the house in inter-house competitions.
b. Encouraging and supporting the students in the house especially with discipline, academic effort and participation in inter-house events.
c. Organizing and controlling house assembly and morning school assembly.
CLUBS AND SPORTS
Clubs and sport activities take place on Saturdays (except second and fourth Saturdays) and all students must join clubs and participate in music, dance, karate, yoga or any sporting activities.
INTER HOUSE SPORTS AND GAMES
Basket ball, Throw ball, Foot ball, Cricket, Volley bal., Athletics, Sports day,Shuttle badminton Inter house Annual Sports Meet and Arts Festival are held for sub juniors, juniors and seniors.
PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION
Shalom Residential Public School has an Executive Committee of Parent Teacher Association. The Executive Committee has a minimum of 15 members. They are elected by the members of General Body in a General Body meeting of Parent Teacher Association. During the academic year school conducts four General Body meetings. The election of Parent Teacher Association Executives is usually conducted in July every year.
PARENT TEACHER CONSULTATION
Parent Teacher Consultation is held seven times a year. This is a good opportunity for parents to discuss their child's progress in both Scholastic and Co-scholastic domains with the teachers concerned.
Each student will be given separate time slots to attend the Parent Teacher Consultation. Any inconvenience must be intimated to the teacher concerned through a Diary note or Telephone message.
