Established in 1997, situated in a twelve acre picturesque location at Chittur, Palakkad. Shalom Residential Public School is a co-educational offering both residential and day school facilities. It is affiliated with CBSE (affiliation number is 931065). Shalom has students from ten states and teachers with national and international exposure. A multilinguistic and cross cultural student and teacher community is a commendable feature of the school.
The pre-school division of SRPS is branded as ‘Shalom Tots’. Shalom Tots focuses on pre-school, post school and play school for students in the age group of 3½ yrs – 5½ yrs.
School conducts coaching for civil service, medical and engineering aspirants of classes VIII onwards. School has a well experienced faculty having expertise in subjects and procedure giving students the essential know-how to excel in all competitive examinations.
Shalom hostel has wardens and dorm parents to look after each child in the hostel. The day begins with prayer and jogging at 5.30 am. and ends after evening study at 10.00 pm. Guided study for each child is strictly monitored to ensure his/her performance. Day boarding is also available on request.
SRPS is owned and managed by Shalom Charitable Ministries of India (Shalom Trust) a trust registered under Indian Trust Act 1882. Shalom Trust is engaged in Social housing, Sanitation, Health Care and Education.
